Adaptive outdoor recreation for youth, veterans, and adults with permanent injuries or disabilities. Our trained instructors and volunteers use state-of-the-art equipment so each athlete can participate at their fullest ability.

Need-based scholarships may be available; apply through your HCAS portal.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Northern Arizona’s San Francisco Peaks offer incredible terrain. Spend a day in the snow with our nationally trained staff and volunteers—focused on safety, confidence, and fun. We provide the adaptive equipment needed to make skiing and riding accessible to everyone.

Explore Arizona’s mountains, lakes, and trails.

Kayaking Adventures

Water is the great equalizer. With adaptive outfitting tailored to your needs, our instructors will have you paddling confidently while taking in Northern Arizona’s lakes. Private lessons for individuals and groups are available upon request at Lake Mary (two weeks’ notice appreciated). No experience necessary.

Adaptive Mountain Biking

Build skills, try different bikes, and ride beginner-to-intermediate terrain with a private instructor. Private lessons are available for individuals and groups (two weeks’ notice appreciated).

Rock Climbing

In partnership with Flagstaff Climbing, sessions are staffed by teams trained through the Paradox Sports Adaptive Climbing Initiative.

We provide all adaptive equipment needed, and we can share resources for grants and scholarships if you’re interested in getting your own gear.
