This Privacy Policy explains how High Country Adaptive Sports (“HCAS,” “we,” “our,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, register for programs, volunteer, donate, or shop.

- You provide: contact details; account credentials; participant profiles; health-related information you choose to share to support safe participation; waivers; volunteer applications; donations; purchases; communications; media consent preferences.

- From third parties (as applicable): payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Givebutter), email and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), registration/portal tools, ecommerce/fulfillment tools (e.g., WooCommerce), and event/calendar tools.
How we use information
- Provide, schedule, and improve programs and events.
- Match athletes with appropriate equipment/instruction and support safety.
- Process donations, memberships, merchandise orders, and acknowledgments.
- Communicate about registrations, events, fundraising, newsletters, and updates.
- Maintain donor recognition preferences (including “anonymous” if requested).
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our community and systems.

- Health-related information is used only as necessary to support participation, safety, and accommodations, and is stored with limited access. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity.
Donor recognition preferences

- Service providers/partners: payment processors, registration and scheduling platforms, email and analytics providers, ecommerce and fulfillment, hosting/security.
- Legal/safety: to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and property.
- No selling: we do not sell personal information.

- Program and donation records are kept as required for operations, tax, and audit (often 6–7 years). Other data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described.
