Winter Volunteer

Support adaptive ski and ride lessons at Arizona Snowbowl. You’ll help instructors fit gear, assist on-snow, and keep lessons moving safely and smoothly.

Winter VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

What you’ll do

  • On-snow lesson support (bi-ski, mono-ski, tetra ski, 2/3/4-track, snowboard, slider, ski bike)
  • Lift/load and athlete assistance, equipment staging, wayfinding
  • Check-in and end-of-day wrap as needed

Training & support

  • Orientation + role-specific on-snow training
  • Shadow shifts with a lead before independent assignments

Time & requirements

  • Typical shift 3–4 hours (half-day blocks)
  • Age 16+ (some roles 18+); background check for athlete-facing roles
  • Comfortable outdoors in winter weather (loaner outer layers available)

Summer Volunteer

Help athletes paddle, ride, and climb at regional lakes, trails, and partner facilities. No experience needed—training provided.

SUMMER VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

What you’ll do

  • Kayaking support (shore and on-water assistance, outfitting)
  • Adaptive mountain biking trail support and spotting
  • Rock climbing support (belay roles require training)
  • Events and outreach help as needed

Training & support

  • Orientation + activity-specific training
  • Shadow shifts and ongoing coaching

Time & requirements

  • Typical shift 2–3 hours
    Age 16+ (some roles 18+); background check for athlete-facing roles
  • Comfortable outdoors in summer conditions
